for the TRILLION 3 project
Trillion's self titled debut album was released on Epic Records in 1978.
Trillion's second album, titled Clear Approach
was released on The Epic label in 1979.
The tours included 52 cities.
TRILLION
opened for or shared the bill with Heart, Styx, TOTO,
Ian Hunter, Jeff Beck, The Starship, Rick Derringer
and many
other great acts.
Since the 80's break up the band members
went in different directions
doing many different projects and on different
labels.
Just last year 2007, four of the members
felt that the band's legacy
had been cut short far before exploring its full potential,
and that there was much more uniquely compelling music to come
from this combination of slightly eccentric and adventerous players!
Thom Griffin, Frank Barbalace, CJ Vanston and Bill Wilkins
are writing, producing
and recording
with the addition of Bryan Mitchell - producer engineer.
Currently we're recording at Bryan Mitchell Studios in Chicago.
The new stuff is exciting and reminiscent of the original TRILLION sound with a touch of holy crap.
The new Trillion project is moving forward
with a timed re-release of the
Clear Approach record, currently on Sony record
label.
The licensed and re-mastered record by Jon Astley of the UK
is going to be re-released
by the Rock Candy record Company, UK.
The ETA is late September 08.
